A pioneer Reposado, industry-surpassing, 11-month barrel aging creates rich, amber hues with a palate of buttery agave and soft spices.

Herradura Reposado is a tropical, caramel-leaning reposado with clear barrel influence and a bit of “big brand” funk. On the nose you get pineapple, citrus (orange/grapefruit), vanilla, butterscotch and sweet oak, sometimes with a hint of ethanol. The palate brings caramel, butterscotch, oak spice, pepper, banana/tropical fruit and light herbal/minty notes. Finish is medium, slightly sweet and spicy, but can turn a bit bitter or artificial on recent batches. Fun tropical profile, better as a casual sipper or mixer than a benchmark agave reposado.
