Teremana Blanco is kind of a mixed bag. On the nose you get agave and citrus with some cinnamon, but also a noticeable hit of alcohol and sometimes a weird metallic/soapy vibe. The first sip brings cooked/raw agave, lemony citrus and pepper, with a sweetness that can feel a bit artificial, like vanilla frosting. There’s some minerality and vegetal notes in there too, but the sharp ethanol and slightly bitter, medicinal finish keep it from being a great sipper. It works fine in cocktails or for casual drinking, but compared to other blancos in the same price range, it doesn’t really live up to the hype.
