Patron Silver

Patrón Silver is a solid, mainstream blanco that’s easy to find but not exactly mind-blowing. On the nose you get cooked agave, bright citrus and some green, vegetal notes. The palate is clean with agave, pepper, a bit of tropical/kiwi fruit and brine, but there’s also a noticeable alcohol sting and it doesn’t have much depth. The finish is short to medium, pretty clean but can lean a little bitter. Great as a crowd-pleasing mixer or “best option at the bar”, but there are more interesting blancos for the same money.
