Aged approximately 6 to 8 months in a blend of American white oak, cherry, and acacia casks presenting a more mature and fuller expression with a long finish on the palate.

Mijenta Reposado is a really easy-drinking, fruity-sweet bottle that still keeps a nice agave core. On the nose and palate you get honey, caramel, vanilla and butterscotch wrapped around ripe melon and banana, with some cinnamon, clove and black pepper giving it a warm spicy edge. The oak is present but pretty light, more like a soft frame than the main event. Finish is medium, silky, with floral and herbal notes (honeysuckle, grass, a bit of minerality) that keep it feeling fresh rather than heavy. It’s not the most complex reposado out there, but as a soft, tropical-leaning sipper it’s very enjoyable.
